Headscarf & Wilayah of Ahlulbayt (AS)

Submitted by Anonymous on Thu, 12/10/2015 - 02:13

Salam alaykom,

May this reach you in the best of health.

I have been struggling with wearing the headscarf lately. I know that most scholars agree that the headscarf is mandatory. What I would like to know is why Allah made it obligatory for women and not men. I am aware of the physical and biological differences between the two genders but there are a lot of speculations around when the hijab became mandatory. Allah is just and wouldn't have different expectations from different individuals.

Praying Directly to Infallible Imams

Submitted by Anonymous on Mon, 10/19/2015 - 22:25

Salaam Brothers,

In the quran Allah says 'Indeed Allah does not forgive association with Him but forgives everything else for whom He wills..' (4:48).

However when we directly ask Imam's for assistance or go to Karbala and ask Imam Hussain for the fulfillment of our hajaat, we are associating our Imams with Allah indirectly. So isnt that shirk?

This issue has caused me many sleepless nights, please answer in details as to relinquish all doubts in my mind.

How to ask Allah for help in times of grave danger?

Assalamu Alaikum, I am a 24 years old student. I had a severe psychological problem and i suffered from severe anxiety problems for the past 3 years. and for this I could not complete my three year intakes of four year University course. Before that I was pious boy who used to pray and research on Islam. But suddenly I don't know how some evil force took me away from all the good deeds that i used to do. I did not even feel the guilt for not attending the fard and jummah praters! something very wrong happened to me. But that was not the end.

Muslim Not Believing in Hadith

Submitted by Anonymous on Sun, 07/26/2015 - 03:24

Question is that I am Muslim my whole life but I do not believe in the Hadith. I reject the Hadith because I believe it is not from Allah.

Because Mohammad said: ما كنت بدعا من الرسل وما أدری ما يفعل بی ولا بكم إن أتبع إلا ما يوحى إلي وما أنا إلا نذير "I follow only what is revealed to me [from Allah] and I am only a clear warner."

— Quran 46:9, revealed in Mecca. Question is if I believe only in Quran can I go to Janna?

Allah Addressed as He

Submitted by Anonymous on Sun, 07/19/2015 - 03:52

My question is, why is Allah being addressed in the Quran and all the duas of our 12 imams as "He" when at the same time it is common knowledge that Allah is neither he nor she?

Calling Our Imams For Help

Submitted by Anonymous on Mon, 04/13/2015 - 13:24

Ya Ali Madad,

I have a question regarding our shia belief, I believe in Allah and the Ahlul Bayt and I know that Allah makes everything happen. When ever I am in need of something I ask our imams, for example I will ask Imam-e-Zamana, please help me or Ya Ali please help me. A lot of other sects criticise this act and say we should only ask Allah for help.

Can you please advise? Am I doing something wrong? I love our imams.

Thank you, Hassan Mansoor

Acts & Essence of Allah

Submitted by Anonymous on Thu, 04/02/2015 - 07:55

Do Shia believe the Act of Allah to be separate from the Essence that performs that Act? So for example is the Act of creation separate from the Essence. I have read that the Attributes of Action are separate from the Attributes of Essence.

Could you please clarify this?

Obey Parents or Allah

Submitted by Anonymous on Wed, 03/25/2015 - 00:06

My mother demands me not to keep beard while I am convinced that I should keep beared as an Islamic culture. When I researched I came to know that obeying parents is compulsory whereas beard is not compulsory.

So according to Islam what should be my action? Duty toward my mother by fulfilling her wish or duty toward Allah (which is non obligatory).

Jazak Allah
