Paying Khums for Children

Q:

How do you pay khums on the following :

1. Access clothing, toys, gifts that belong to your children that have never been used for more than a year.(Do you have to pay)

2. Children receive cash as gift from family members and their parents.

3. If you spend the money of your children received as above, can you deduct them from your saving before calculating your own khums.

1802. If a minor child owns some capital, and profit accrues on it, Khums becomes liable and it is obligatory upon his guardian to pay the Khums. But if he does not, the minor child will have to pay it when he attains puberty.
